What is GrandeLASH MD
GrandeLASH MD Enhancing Serum is an eyelash growth distributed by Grande Cosmetics and founded by Alicia Grande. I used to be confused about the “MD” within the name as I didn’t see those initials next to Ms. Grande’s name. It seems she’s not a doctor (nor does she claim to be), and GrandeLASH MD Enhancing Serum isn’t a prescription that needs a doctor’s order like Latisse. It gets its namesake thanks to the very fact it had been formulated by a doctor. I see what you probably did there, Ms. Grande.
Most recently GrandeLASH MD Enhancing Serum won the New Beauty Award for 2022 and has countless features all together in the blogs and magazines. It’s sold on GrandeCosmetics’ website and thru Sephora (amongst other authorized retailers) which may be a nod to its somewhat exclusive status above your run-of-the-mill drugstore purchase yet more accessible than prescription Latisse.

Price & Packaging
The packaging donned GrandeCosmetics’ brand of shouty pink, gold, and black. The brand features a feel of a homegrown baby that had earned its stripes and climbed the ranks into something more sophisticated but misses a touch little bit of the finesse and class of its fellow Sephora classmates with massive packaging budgets.
However, it’s to not say it’s cheap and you’ll argue that the merchandise speaks for itself. The box it comes in is cardboard-like you’d expect a higher-end cosmetic to be in. The tube itself was a pleasing surprise; a solid plastic with foil and bold black GrandeLASH MD Enhancing Serum font. It twisted open easily. It didn’t feel flimsy, but it didn’t have the incredible weight of something like Thrive Causemetic’s tubing mascara which could double as nunchucks if you were during a pinch. It had been deserving its tag (more thereon below) and felt substantial.
Once opening the tube the skinny applicator with the small brush came out easily with some tension, and no mess or extra product to guck up everything. BONUS POINTS. I used to be worried the small brush may get smooshed when putting it back in the tube but it didn’t. Extra bonus. It had been clear that this was GrandeCosmetic’s flagship product and thought had been put into appropriate packaging that didn’t deter and enhanced the user experience.

Application
The directions are pretty straightforward; don’t use multiple swipes, use once each day on clean lashes, and apply to the lash roots on the outer line (and not the lashes themselves like mascara, and on the within of the lid like tight lining) and don’t poke yourself within the eye. Roger that.
The application was a breeze. It took all of 10 seconds per eye. I swiped it on one eye at a time a bit like eyeliner after performing my nightly face wash and skincare routine (which takes considerably longer than 10 seconds…)
My Results
I purchased the 6-week trial size from Sephora. Once I first started using it, I did have eye irritation exacerbated by the very fact that I did a 20+ page paper and should have blinked my eyes 3 times that day. They were dry, red, and a touch angry. The areas I had applied it were a touch pink. This lasted for a few weeks.
I wasn’t such a lover of this but I’ve used Rapid Lash in the past (also effective) which caused irritation, and this is often also a well-known side effect of Laisse. I used to be cautiously optimistic. That aside, once my eyes became familiar with it and about three weeks in I noticed not only length but multiple layers of lashes growing.
Now to be fair, I can grow hair for better or worse just like the better of people. This might not happen for everybody. But I had two to 3 layers of lashes filling in. the primary few weeks my lashes were a touch uneven with new growth sprouting vs the longer existing lashes. After about 45 days my lashes were full, fluttery, and healthy. I noticed fewer lashes falling, the expansion was slightly darker and had a stunning curl at the top.
By three months they were beautiful. My lashes are naturally a touch of a sandy brown and thus not particularly striking. However, when I’d wear mascara people were like WOAH. I’m not kidding that almost everyone who normally saw me without mascara then did a double-take. My mascara game is pretty solid, more about the way to get mega lashes here if you’d wish to read. But it had been true. They were PRETTY. LEGIT. Take a glance at my lashes before and after mascara about two months in. No lash curler was used. Beautiful fresh hair and skin pre-COVID-19. Hay girl, hay.
Two interesting things I learned during this process are that faithful to my earlier comment of having the ability to grow hair sort of a wild beast, I had lashes growing on top and bottom around my tear ducts. It had been as if it had been saying to me with a shrug, “What, you said grow hair. I grew hair. I cannot control my greatness” it had been wild. and that they were a touch annoying. It had been like I used to be constantly poking myself in the eye. The opposite was that I used to be ready to make my 6-week supply last for nearly 3 months of daily use. So, it actually finishes up being a reasonable bargain and people’s other tubes of 5 mL seem to be overkill, especially once you should be throwing out your mascara every three months for risk of infection.
Final Decision
When it involves growing lashes, I’ll give GrandeLASH MD Enhancing Serum my Readhead Best seal of approval. The pros were its simple use, having the ability to urge it from multiple sources and without an RX/MLM/subscription hassle, and it comes in two different sizes. The ingredient Cloprostenol Isopropyl Ester may be a key ingredient to helping lashes grow but has been related to dry eyes with chronic use.
